Adler died May 28, 1937 while on a lecture
trip to Aberdeen, Scotland. He lectured
nearly ten continuous weeks in France,
Belgium, Holland and Great Britan.
As Abraham Maslow declared
shortly before his own death in
1970, "For me, Alfred Adler became
more and more correct year by year.

After serving in the Hungarian Army Medical Corps in
the First World War Adler's chief reputation soon
became established in the applied field of child
psychology. He established Child-guidance clinics in
Austria, London and in the United States.
